A cable knit cardigan for women who want one layer that carries the whole day

The Cynthia cardigan is a button-front cardigan for women, cut long enough to cover the hip. It is the one you reach for on a cool morning, when the house is still chilly and you have the school run, the market and a coffee ahead of you.

The V-neckline opens a little, so a necklace or a shirt collar still shows. Buttons run down the front, which means you can close it against the wind or leave it open over a top. Panels of cable and basketweave stitch run across the body and the sleeves, so the knit keeps its shape instead of hanging flat. Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem keep the sleeves where you push them and stop the cardigan riding up when you sit down.

Wear it over a plain tee with jeans, or over a dress with boots when the afternoon turns cold. It carries you from early autumn through winter, and it slides under a coat on the coldest days. It comes in pink, taupe, cream and red, in sizes S to 3XL.
