A collared knit cardigan with ruffle trim down the front, cut for everyday layering

This is a hip length cardigan for women, open all the way down the front and long enough to sit just past the waistband. Gloria reaches for it on the mornings that start cold and turn mild by noon. It goes on over a tank or a tee and stays on through the day.

A folded collar sits at the neck, and a ruffled placket runs from the collar to the hem on both sides, with rounded brown buttons set along the ribbed bands. The sleeves end in a small ruffled cuff, and the knit is ribbed through the body and the arms. If a cardigan normally hangs straight and shapeless on you, the ruffled edge here draws a curved line down the front instead.

Wear it with straight leg jeans and a white tank, or over a slip dress when the evenings turn cold. It carries through fall and into winter under a coat. It comes in black, white, cream, gray, red, turquoise, sky blue and yellow, sizes XS to 3XL.
